Concrete pavers

Concrete pavers are well suited to high-traffic areas, including patios and primary walkways, offering durability and aesthetic versatility. Available in an extensive array of shapes, sizes, colors, and finishes, they can be tailored to any design vision—from the clean lines of large geometric slabs for modern landscapes to the weathered, rustic charm of smaller tumbled stones. While their uniform dimensions allow for a more efficient installation than natural stone, the secret to their long-term structural integrity lies in careful base preparation.

Notes:

  • Darker concrete pavers retain more heat, while lighter tones stay much cooler.
  • Small pavers are less physically demanding to install.
  • Compaction and cutting equipment is necessary, but easy to rent.
  • Pavers and base materials can be delivered, eliminating the need for a truck and trailer
  • Excavating 7-9” down is usually needed to prepare the base materials properly. Plan on using the removed soil in another part of your landscape if possible.
